a volunteer network tackling gender based violence globally by creating intersectional survivor-led resources on the web.
We are an award-winning, open-source project run solely on the passion of more than 400 skilled volunteers from 15 countries. Our resources are openly licensed so charities around the world can use, remix and distribute our work!
Our design principle: Design with, not for.
We’re proud to co-design resources with survivors of abuse from around the world.
p.s. Chayn چین is an Urdu word and it means ‘solace / peace of mind’.
From speaking to survivors of abuse, stalking & cyber bullying, we realised there are key gaps in available information for these most vulnerable social groups, irrespective of the country they live in. With the help of these survivors & field experts, we’ve built open source, collaborative guides that fill these gaps.
